Spinach Salad = the essence of spring!

As I’ve written before, here at Harvest Kitchen we really need some good tunes to get us through the day.  Keeping the music pumping is a major part of cooking–the right music can really help get us in the zone and producing lots of tasty food.  Everyone who has worked at Harvest Kitchen over the years has brought their own favorite music to our playlists. Personally I’ve been exposed to a lot of new music thanks to the Harvest Kitchen staff.  I also really enjoy the diversity of what we listen to–recently we had everything from Megadeath to Miles Davis to the Avett Brothers.  Chef Gryffyn is always a huge fan of Disney.  Nathanael liked to listen to contemporary jazz. Chef Ryan always played Gorillaz.  Figuring out the playlist is an important job here at HK–sometimes it’s hard to keep everyone happy with so many different tastes, but we keep trying different combinations for different days!  We hope the rhythms infuse the food with laughter and joy!
